Explore Altos De Chavon, a 16th-century Mediterranean village that gives you an idea of what a Mediterranean inspired village would have looked like back then. Jump on a river cruise and kick back and enjoy the Chavon River, arguably the most picturesque river in the country. Don’t miss the Cueva De Las Maravillas cave and explore the pictures on the cave walls left by native Tainos - this deep cavern will leave you wanting more. Tour the island of Saona a short boat ride away where you can scuba, take photos and enjoy the excellent BBQ lunch that includes a delicious Lobster dish. Snorkelling and diving are very popular in La Romana. Book the Passion Paradise Adventure scuba excursion of Catalina Island. Relax and take in some golf; Playa Minitas is a beautiful beach accessible by golf carts so you can enjoy golf and some cocktails and lights snacks after 18 holes. Playa Bayahibe is a popular tourist resort only 10 minutes away. With its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, you and the family can enjoy a relaxing and fun day.
