Discover Kruger National Park

Kruger is the largest national park in South Africa and is located across the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces on the Mozambique border. The park covers an area of over 19,000sq km and is generally flat with low range hills and is accessible by paved and gravel roads. Wildlife in the park includes elephants, lions, leopards, zebras and buffalo so it's the perfect destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Kruger Park Macro 1

River and Bush walks are a popular way to explore the park, they leave daily and are led by 2 experienced guides. Bush walks are popular for large game, birds and insects. Take a drive to the Kruger Tablets in a safari vehicle as this is where lions are best known to linger. A game drive offers you the chance to see wildlife from an open-air vehicle, catch a glimpse of amazing animals such as the Big 5 – rhino, elephants, leopards, lions and buffalo, as well as giraffes, hippos and impala. Spot some of the park’s best wildlife on the Wolhuter trail as well as some of the more unique landscapes of the park. Historic relics that date back to Stone and Iron age can be seen on many of the rock formations. Take a drive down to Albasini ruins and learn all about the park's rich history and the old 19th century trading post.

Kruger National Park is an amazing destination and is suitable for families with kids, groups of friends or couples. The Park has rest camps suitable for those wanting affordable self-catering accommodation, as well as chalets, bungalows, huts and cottages on offer. There are also hotels and lodges in the surrounding areas outside of the park if you prefer a little more luxury.
