1. The Farm, Al Barari

This oasis located in the heart of the city’s desert landscape has delicious, guilt-free food and amazing views that are hard to resist. Make sure to stop by this place and when the weather is good, be sure to grab yourself a spot on a wooden deck surrounded by a beautiful garden on a lake.

Dubai is known for its contemporary architecture but in the middle of its modernity, there is the Al Bastakia Quarter. It is an old historic district that is dated back in the 1890s. This is worth the visit especially for those who are culturally and historically curious who wish to know what Dubai was like pre-skyscrapers.

3. The Coffee Museum Dubai

This is located in the heart of the Al Bastakia Quarter. Get to know the origins of the coffee you drink here and also know the history of coffee making in the Middle East.

4. JTL Park

If you just want to take a breather in somewhere that is in tune with nature then head over to the JLT Park. Find yourself in this green space underneath the Jumeirah Lake Towers skyscrapers which is perfect for fitness aficionados. If you are in Dubai for a family holiday, bring your kids along and they’ll enjoy the mini zip line in the park!

5. Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve

The DDCR or the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is dedicated in conserving the natural beauty of the Arabian Desert in Dubai. There are a number of activities in which you can participate in such as falconry, sand boarding or get on wildlife drives and see the flora and fauna in this vast desert.
